Victoria is a spiritual director, counselor, and ordained minister. Her background includes education, training, and extensive experience in spiritual development, interfaith pastoral counseling, clinical addictions, and couples counseling. A native Nebraskan, Victoria grew up in Ralston, a small community near Omaha. Middle American traditions, and pioneering settlers fostered a rich sense of place, ritual, and a sojourning spirit, that continue to inform and shape Victoria’s life and her work. Victoria now makes her home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
She is a member of Spiritual Directors International (SDI), and a graduate and companioning member of Soul River Spiritual Center in Chapel Hill, NC. She is also an oblate with St. Brigid of Kildare Monastery, a Benedictine/Methodist monastic community.
Victoria believes spiritual direction is an act of hospitality. Just as hospitality was extended to people on a journey, so is spiritual direction. She provides unhurried space that’s welcoming and safe – sanctuary – where you may explore the stirrings in your heart that could give birth to new aspects of God’s life within you, and within your relationship.
